Static Shock is my favorite superhero…

he was like the Spiderman of DC Universe just waaaaaaaaaaaay less team ups and he had a cool partner, I never felt like Richie/Gear was ever a sidekick, except the episode they made Static purposely treat him like a sidekick so Richie could get mad and declare it should be more of a partnership than a hero/sidekick relationship. Plus they had Shaq, some boy band(idr which one, i think it was Nsync or Backstreet boys), Lil Romeo(although i dislike that nigga), and other people guess star on the show. They should make a movie out of that but that shit better be good I don’t want know Dragonball Z, Green Lantern, or Last Airbender shit, if they do a live action Static Shock that better be Captain America, Batman, Avengers, and Iron Man good

Seriously that show tackled gang issues, peer pressure, racism, single parenting problems(which several other shows/comics like Spiderman and Batman showed), Historic events(although tweeked, the riot responsible for Static’s mother’s death was awfully similar to the Rodney King riot), the corruptness and behind scenes of the media(hip hop conflicts, sellouts, the business in all), and common real life situations in the life of teens socially, mentally, and physically. And the soundtrack and instrumentals/beats for the show were also great. perfect blend of the present(at the time) with the past.

There was so much realness to that show. There are quite a few series I wanted to didn’t have to end, but this show is in my top 5. I honestly wish it never ended and never would.

I love the characters of Virgil/Static, Richie/Gear, Ebon, Rubberbandman and Mr. Hawkins(Virgil’s Dad) the most.

I want a Static Shock series back on tv so bad =/
